MEET THE TEAM
Randomly I started out as a beauty therapist, I then realised I was a bit of a geek and spent many years working as a course supervisor providing IT training, during this time I gained skills as a Microsoft specialist I also dabbled in a bit of advanced IT & web design. My specialty was medical, legal and executive secretary training. Since then I have worked for a medical charity providing administrative support.
In my spare time I enjoy spending time with friends, family, a crochet hook and my drum kit. As a keen drummer I have been lucky enough to play at various festivals as well as some local gigs along the south coast. I am known for having bright coloured hair which has been proven to be useful at busy events.
I have been working as an event organiser in the medical charity sector for the past 12 years. Prior to that, I worked for a large insurance company in a variety of roles including corporate hospitality, internal communications and purchasing.
Away from work, I am a wife and Mum who enjoys spending time with both family and friends. For the past few years and together with a friend, I have aimed to complete an annual charity challenge. So far, we have swum “Pier to Pier” from Bournemouth to Boscombe, completed the Moon Walk in London, abseiled down the Spinnaker Tower in Portsmouth, walked the Clarendon Way from Salisbury to Winchester and completed the Pretty Muddy course in Southsea.
