Becki Cole
I started out as a beauty therapist, I then realised I was a bit of a geek and spent many years working as a course supervisor providing IT training, during this time I gained skills as a Microsoft specialist I also dabbled in a bit of advanced IT & web design. My specialty was medical, legal and executive secretary training. Since then I have worked for various medical charities providing administrative support.
In my spare time I enjoy spending time with friends, family and walking my dog, Willow. I love music and play the drums and keyboard. I used to be in a band where I played at various festivals. I've recently started a vegetable garden to grow my own produce which comes complete with 5 hens and a Rooster called Pudding (the rooster was an accident but he is a great alarm clock and looks after the girls). I also enjoy baking, crochet, sewing and gardening.
Kate Smith
I have been working as an event organiser in the medical charity sector for the past 12 years. Prior to that, I worked for a large insurance company in a variety of roles including corporate hospitality, internal communications and purchasing.
Away from work, I am a wife and Mum who enjoys spending time with both family and friends. For the past few years and together with a friend, I have aimed to complete an annual charity challenge. So far, we have swum “Pier to Pier” from Bournemouth to Boscombe, completed the Moon Walk in London, abseiled down the Spinnaker Tower in Portsmouth, walked the Clarendon Way from Salisbury to Winchester and completed the Pretty Muddy course in Southsea.
